Andrew and Clare Crawford are devastated to announce the death of their daughter Millie Erin Crawford on 11th October. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George McDougall, aged 79, of Rathlin, Shebster. On Saturday 4th October George died peacefully at home, with his family beside him, after a long period of ill health. It is with great sadness we, as a family, announce the passing of Donald Fraser Murray (Donnie), age 74 of “Strathdon”, Baligill, Strathy. Peacefully at home with his family by his side. Dear husband to Anne. A loving Dad, Grandad, Brother and friend to all. 

Funeral service to be held in Strathy Church of Scotland on Thursday 21st August, service commencing at 11 am, thereafter to Bunahoun Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited to wear kilts or Rangers and Scotland football tops. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Melvich football club. 

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alex MacKay, (Joiner), on Thursday, 24th July, 2025, aged 69 years, of 58 Strathy West, Strathy. Much loved partner of Linda. A dear brother to Marie. Adored uncle to Lynsey, Barry and Scott. A dear Brother-in-law, great uncle and a friend to so many.
